Roland will focus on deal origination with an emphasis on the DACH and CEE regions working in close partnership with the London office. Roland has over two decades of experience in the FinTech sector as a senior executive, investor, and entrepreneur. He co-founded IND Group, a leading developer of digital banking software solutions to major banks throughout EMEA. Roland oversaw its successful international expansion, and acted as Executive Chairman at the time of its sale to Misys (now Finastra) in 2014 – a transaction which Zelig advised on.
Richard joins Zelig’s London team bringing with him nearly 20 years of continuous corporate finance experience across M&A transactions and fundraisings most recently focused on the technology sector. In his career, Richard has transacted on more than 40 corporate finance deals with a combined value of over $200bn. He was formerly a senior investment banker in the M&A teams at Barclays Capital and ABN AMRO and qualified as a Chartered Accountant at Deloitte. Richard will have a specific focus on developing Zelig’s transaction execution capabilities as the business continues its rapid expansion.
